I hate parental controls

My stupid computer is like a drill sargent...it won't let me on anything. People keep telling me they sent me stuff on Facebook or invited me to a party, but I had no idea. because I can't get on it. No, proxies don't even let me on. I guess I'm better at face-to-face communication now, but I feel so out of touch. My first boyfriend and I became friends using myspace, and though it didn't end well (another post, perhaps) I still liked that I could communicate with him without feeling awkward. I'm pretty shy and get super nervous around others, especially boys, so myspace and facebook were godsends. But no more...The school computers let me do more. No joke. I have to get up super early to be able to do certain things for homework because of my stupid computer. I can't wait until I get a laptop.
